With the increasing COVID-19 news affecting and distancing us all, emptying restaurants, grocery shelves, and downtown streets, we are more concerned than ever for the health and safety of our customers and employees.
Please know that we are taking every precaution possible at U:Don to keep our stores and surfaces disinfected and sanitary, cleaning surfaces, washing our hands, wearing gloves, sanitizing our stations, and keeping noodles freshly made and cooked and held no longer than 30 min—like we’ve always done.
As of March 17, 2020 Tuesday, our U-District location is temporarily closed until Tuesday March 31, 2020, due to the Washington State Mandate requiring restaurants to shut down or operate in a limited capacity.
We ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS at our Capitol Hill location but to serve your DELIVERY AND TAKEOUT ORDERS ONLY.
Both stores will be fully open and operational for dine in, take out, and delivery service on April 1, 2020 unless authorities continue the ban.
These days, we’ve also added extra precautions. If employees feel remotely ill, they’re asked to stay home and self-quarantine with health status updates. You are also provided with hand sanitizer should you walk in for a takeout order.
We know it is a very tough time on everyone but we all still get hungry.
For everyone in the Emerald City, we’re still here to serve you the fresh, house made Japanese comfort food you love. And we promise to take especial care to serve and deliver food to your home as safely, cleanly, and carefully as we can make it.
